When your guests walk into whatever venue you've chosen for your reception, you want the wedding centerpieces to elicit gasps of admiration. But you also want to make sure those admiring glances last through the entire reception, not end up leading to irritation or problems by the end of evening. Sadly, it has happened to more than one bride who has selected over-the top centerpieces that ended up as distractions instead of decorations.

The easy way to decide on a table arrangement for your wedding function, is to first ask yourself these questions:

1. Will guests be seated around the table?  If so ensure you choose low style arrangements to allow your guest to have unobstructed views to each other.
2. What is the shape of the table?  Generally the arrangement shape should be similar to the table shape, so round tables have round arrangements.
3. What style of function is it?  If its sophisticated try and keep the colours simple, if its happy and fun, ensure the arrangement is bright and colourful.
